Dr. Jasjit Suri has spent over 20 years in engineering sciences and his last 14 years has been dedicated in the field of medical imaging modalities, medical devices and its fusion. Dr. Suri received his BS in Computer Engineering in distinction from Maulana Azad College of Technology, Bhopal, India, and his MS in Computer Sciences (in conjunction with Neurology Division, School of Medicine) from University of Illinois, Chicago, Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (in conjunction with Cardiology Division, School of Medicine) from University of Washington, Seattle and MBA from Weatherhead School of Management (in conjunction with Department of Biomedical Engineering), Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland. His major interests are in the field of Biomedical Imaging (from pixel to molecular to fusion) and Biomedical Non-invasive Devices, Nano-technology, MEMS, Image Guided Surgeries, Computer Vision, Graphics, Software Engineering and Biophysics – all for better healthcare design, screening, diagnosis, delivery and therapy.
