Dr. Randall Tagg is Associate Professor and Physics Department Chair at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center. A dedicated and gifted teacher and researcher, Dr. Tagg founded the Center for Learning through Applied Research and Innovation (CLARI) at CU Denver. His research interests include nonlinear and chaotic systems, fluid dynamics, and biomedical research, among many other activities. Dr. Tagg received his B.S. in Physics (with honors) from the
California Institute of Technology, his PhD. in Physics from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and served as a Postdoc at the
University of Texas at Austin. He was born in Houston and lived in many places a s a youth (including London). He likes bicycling, hiking, karate, rowing, and kayaking when not putting in all-nighters as physics department chair. Dr. Randy Tagg's
